1991–1992  SAC Tutor for Denny Writers.

1993    More episodes of The Happy Land on BBC Radio Scotland.

1994    Awarded a second SAC Writer’s Bursary.

1994    Started running Poetry in Practice classes at Edinburgh             University. Classes still running.

1995–1996   SAC Tutor for Denny Writers.

1996    Poem featured on BBC Radio 4’s Poetry Please!

1997    First Prize in UK section of Scottish International Open Poetry             Competition.

1997    First Prize in Swanage Literary Festival Competition.

2001    Poems included in A Book of Scottish Verse (Hale).

2001–2002  Royal Literary Fund Writing Fellow at Napier University                     (Edinburgh).

2002   Asked to join Edinburgh’s Shore Poets.

2002–2003   RLF Writing Fellow at Edinburgh University (Lifelong                      Learning).

2004–2005   RLF Project Fellow at EU (LL).

2006   RLF mentor.

2002    Spalebone Days (Kettillonia Press) published.

2005    First Prize in UK section of Scottish International Open Poetry             Competition.

2005    Poetry reading at the Scottish Parliament.

2006    First Prize in National Galleries of Scotland Competition.
